According to the Toronto Real Estate Board, new listings in the GTA are the lowest seen in the last decade. In other words, there is a critical lack of housing inventory. At the same time buyer demand is high. Resulting in double digit price growth.  In fact the selling price for all homes combined was up by 12.6 per cent year-over-year to $1,070,911. Furthermore here in Mississauga we’ve seen huge demand for affordable housing. As can be seen on the charts below, it’s a hard sellers market. Homes are selling quickly and and on average – over 104% over asking.
