Erindale, Mississauga is located in central Mississauga.Settled in the early 1800’s by Empire Loyalists and Irish immigrants. Thus aply named Erin-dale. Erindale real estate was sold off in 100 -200 acres lots. The village thrived with Mills on the Credit River and hotels catering to stage coach travelers between York and Hamilton. Today Erindale has a population of over 22,000 residents. It serves as a bedroom community for Mississauga and the GTA. The main communities are Credit Woodlands and Credit Heights.
Erindale naturally borders the Credit River on the West, Dundas Street on the South, Burnhamthorpe Road to the North and Mavis Road to the East.
