Mississauga Real Estate – February 2020 – According to the latest Toronto Real Estate Board Market Watch Report, we are experiencing a tighter housing market for buyers. Comparatively the sales volume is 15.4% higher and new listings are down 17.1% over the same time last year. The result is fewer homes for sale and less selection for buyers. Rebound in detached home sales in Mississauga and GTA
As well in Mississauga, we are also experiencing a lack of inventory of homes for sale. Further detached home sales have rebounded over a slower January last year. So detached sales are up 18.9% and detached average prices for detached are also up 7.7% over the same time last year. Mississauga buyers are also creating high demand for Condo Apartments. To illustrate, In Square One the Rogers M Towers (M3 being the tallest at 87 stories) are under construction and almost sold out.

In conclusion in the GTA and Mississauga real estate, we are expecting a strong real estate market. Not so good for buyers who will have to compete to purchase. But good for sellers, with expected higher price increases and many multiple offer situations.
