Can you tell me a little bit about your team?
When we chatted two years ago I believe you had three team members? “Yes, that’s right – and we’re still growing. Our goal was never really to have a large team. Rather to have great systems and a well-functioning team in place.”
Can you tell me a little bit about the areas you service in real estate in the Kingston area?
“Absolutely, we represent the Kingston area and the City of Kingston. Going as far east as Gananoque, North to Westport, which is a great little town on the Rideau system. Lastly, west to Nappanee, which includes the loyalist area of Amherstview, Bath, and Odessa. Altogether, we have lots of water around us!”
How’s the market doing in Kingston area now? Is it a buyer’s market or a seller’s market?
“It’s been kind of a rocky ride over the last year, due to the mortgage rates changing about seven times in 2022. That affected pretty much the whole country and almost every buyer, unless they were paying cash. In terms of our market, of course we’re a buyer’s market right now. But traditionally, over the last 40 years, Kingston has been known to be a very conservative steady with 3% appreciation per year…”
