Phase 1. South Erin Mills was built in the 1970’s and was designed for family use around parks, bike trails, small streams and waterways feeding into the Credit River. Such names as Kings Masting park, Woodhurst Heights park, Brookmede park, South Common park and Sawmill Valley creek trails and parks.
Phase 2. Erin Mills West, was built in 1980-1989. It borders on Oakville, and to the south West with communities nestled around Garthwood park and Tom Chater Memorial park. Following this development, Erin Mills Town Centre opened in 1989. Developer Cadillac Fairview built the mall. Today, it’s a modern facility, recently renovated with a $100 Million dollar makeover.
Erin Mills is the local hub for shopping and services. The Erin Mills Power Centre along Rideway Drive offers great selection of stores for local and area shoppers.
Phase 3. Central Erin Mills, was built in 1990-2000. To name a few neighbourhoods; Peacock, Castlebridge, Middlebury, Greensboro, Bell Harbour, Ducairn and Thomas Street. Coveted homes in a great modern community. In addition, the Credit Mills community is nestled close to Streetsville between Erin Mills Parkway and along Mississauga Rd. This exclusive neighbourhood has some of the largest homes and consequentially the highest priced Erin Mills Real Estate.
Phase 4. Churchill Meadows is the most recent development. Built in 2000-2015 is the most westerly of Erin Mills Real Estate.
Local employment accounts for over 50% of the lively hoods of Erin Mills residents. Generally, families are well served with amenities, schools, transportation, shopping, parks and entertainment.
